INST 2026 Nuclear Scientist Award (NSA)
& Young Nuclear Scientist Award (YNSA)
The academic committee of the International Nuclear Science and Technology Conference (INST) is dedicated to promoting science and technology in the nuclear field. We are pleased to announce that the INST 2026 Nuclear Scientist Award (NSA) and Young Nuclear Scientist Award (YNSA) will be presented at the INST 2026 conference in Bangkok, Thailand, during Q3 of 2026.
Aim
These awards recognize individuals for their outstanding contributions and achievements in nuclear science and technology. Applications are widely solicited from the international community of practicing scientists, with no restrictions on gender, nationality, or field of degree.
The Award
Recipients are expected to attend INST 2026 and present their work in a lecture. The award package includes:
- An engraved plaque.
- Full complimentary registration for the INST 2026 conference.
- A financial grant towards conference attendance expenses:
- NSA: Up to US$ 1,000
- YNSA: Up to US$ 700
Eligibility & Application Process
Deadline: May 15, 2026 (18:00 Thailand time).
Submission: Submit your application package in MS Word or PDF format via email to [email protected].
Nuclear Scientist Award (NSA)
Required Documents:
- Application letter (see Appendix).
- Published manuscript in an international journal with an impact factor (original contribution, not used for prior awards).
- Complete CV (last 5 years of publications, principal authorship underlined).
- Document certifying age.
- Photo identification.
Young Nuclear Scientist Award (YNSA)
Age Requirement: Less than 35 years old on the first day of INST 2026.
Required Documents:
- Application letter (see Appendix).
- Published manuscript in an international journal with impact factor (original contribution, not used for prior awards).
- Complete CV (last 5 years of publications, principal authorship underlined).
- Document certifying age.
- Photo identification.
- Recommendation Letter: Must be sent directly by the supervisor via email. Letters included in the applicant's package will NOT be accepted.
Criteria & Selection
- Applications will be reviewed by a committee from the Nuclear Society of Thailand.
- Selection is based on scientific merit, excellence, impact of original research, and prospects of sustained contributions.
- Manuscripts not selected for the award will be considered for regular presentation at the conference.
- Applicants will be notified of the decision by June 15, 2026.
